Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. Our team is walking in March for Babies because we want to do something about this. I know you care, too. That's why I'm asking you to join us. Our little Aaron had a rare form of dwarfism called Thanatophoric Dysplasia or TD1 also known as Death Bearing. This form of dwarfism is a rare but is caused from a new gene mutation and the odds that you and your family may see it are 1 in 60,000 live births. This is just one of many types of difficulties that many families are facing, let alone cancer, sids, childhood diabetes and many more. When you walk in March for Babies, you give hope to the more than half a million babies born too soon each year. The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten our babies.
If you can't walk with us, please help by donating to our team.Even $5 would help our team make its goal of $1000.00. Thank you for helping us give all babies a healthy start!
The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
