Running For A Cure

We ran for a cure on Saturday. What an amazing 5k. If you ever want to participate in a run and be inspired, this is the race. I love watching the survivor walk on the last mile, it is truly inspiring to watch these women who have had cancer, and some who you can tell are still very sick make this walk. INSPIRING! I love watching women band together, I love seeing strong women and families come together for cause. I want my boys to marry strong, compassionate, women.

My Mom came and helped us with Preston, who entertained Grandma while we ran.

Sam and Stockton did great on the run! They stayed with each other and finished just a little over a half hour, pretty good for Stockton first run.

After the race we headed to breakfast and to Hatch Family Chocolates. The family that is featured on TLC's Little Chocolatiers. You have to know that "little people" will always have a soft spot in my heart. We had to stand in a line that was all the way out the door and around the corner, but so worth it! The best carmel rice crispy treat ever!

  1. This is so neat that you did this as a family. I hope that I can do it next year. I love the strength of women and would love to be a part of this. Good job to you and your family!
