I thought that maybe we had some good news yesterday, but then today came and Sam is once again so sick. We took him in to have a ultrasound, (AGAIN) but this time to see if his gallbladder was bleeding or a blood clot had formed from the biopsy last week. I thought yesterday we had an optimistic Doctor, but today he seemed to have changed his tune. So we will wait, we will do more test, and hope we can figure out what is wrong with Sam.
Stockton is healing, and dying to go outside. I let him go out for a little while (with a major big ole hat from Grandma on). He wants to swim really bad, but unless we made some sort of a bag contraption over his head to seal out the water, well that is just out of the question.
Preston loves this whole ordeal. He has been spoiled rotten! Even his Great Grandma gave him $5 because his brother got hurt. He is going to want his brother to be injured all the time.
The dog Jack, for those of you who knew. He almost died on Tuesday. He has the dog flu and pneumonia. Do you want to know how he got these diseases? From the pound, a little over a week ago he broke out (Or someone forgot to put him away) and he went to stay at the pound for the night. I hope he had fun! This was a very expensive adventure. I think I could have gone on a small vacation for what I paid to bail him out of this mess and get him better. But at least my boys aren't sad....ugh, what I do for them.
We are just hanging in there, I am so tired of living inside but we are trying to make the best of it and my closets look awesome! And next week I hope my kitchen will get organized. My boys are doing school work, piano and reading. Preston will go into kindergarten reading (YES!). So the time inside is being well spent but we might start writing REDUM on the windows soon.
Thanks for all the concern and amazing well wishes, we loved it and hope we can go out and enjoy the sun very soon! But I am thinking of letting Stockton enjoy the night life.....toilet papering anyone?!?!?!?
Maybe now would be a good time to come over and work on some good bread recipes (before you get your kitchen too clean)?
