Another Errand for Aaron

We are doing a tree for Aaron for the Festival of Trees. As word has gotten out that we are doing a tree, many people have offered to help. While most of the items have been purchased we have thought of something that would help us.

When we had our few moments with Aaron one of the things we wanted to do was read a story to him. We all piled on the hospital bed and surrounded him and read "Good Night Moon". This little worn out book has been enjoyed for hours by all my sons. Stockton and Preston would spend hours on my lap when they were little talking about the little mouse, the fire, the moon, all the little tiny pictures in the book. I loved that we were able to read it to Aaron.

We thought that we would fill the bottom of our tree with books. If you would like to contribute, we are in need of your favorite Religious or Christmas story book that are hard bound. We would love the help to try and fill underneath the tree with awesome books. All books have to be donated by Nov. 27th.

You can find our tree on isle O-03 it will be displayed under the name "Hannah's Prayer".

  1. Great idea, Brandi. I love the Festival. I'm a little curious about the significance of the name "Hannah's Prayer."
